Your Spring Reset 2026 Starts Right Now. The days are getting longer minute by minute as we move through the last few weeks of February. This is the time to start resetting for spring in order to improve your life this.
Use this time to collect the seeds you want to plant. The ground is still cold and not quiet ready for seeds just yet however you can pick up new seeds, find older seeds and disregard other seeds until your are left with a pile of options you want to explore this year.
As Spring gets closer you will plant those seeds and spend the next few months nurturing them. This means if you have new ideas, health goals, a business project, promotion or side business that you want to implement this year now is the time to collect those concepts, sit with them and start building the habits around bringing them to life.
Note, as you start new habits your body is going to fight you on it every step of the way. This is the time to try habits, figure out what is hardest about maintain that habit and then slowing working through that feeling/block.
What are some daily habits that will improve my life: Spring Edition
- Daily Walk
- Learn a New Skill
- Skincare Routine
- New Seasonal Recipes
- Less Screen Time
- Declutter Your Wardrobe
- Cleaning Routine
Daily Walks
This is the time of year – even if it is wet and cold – to get outside and get some fresh air. Starting this habit now can help you get over the mindset block of wet and cold weather. If you are someone who only walks when it is “nice” outside. How can you move through that? Can you purchase an umbrella, bundle up with an extra layer, and even get excited about walking in the rain?
Daily walks will improve your life by increasing your movement but also getting fresh air. Fresh air is known to help improve your mood, help your immune system and reduce stress.
Learn a New Skill
You are bored because you know everything that is going to happen in your day. Or your at least try to control the step by step narrative that should happen in your day. It feels boring and unsatisfying at times because there is nothing new to challenge your brain.
Enter habit number two to improve your life. Learn a new skill. This would ideally be a hands on skill that doesn’t require a screen. You can read, study, watch tutorials on how to to do something new. And by making a habit to work on a new skill every day or a few times a week you will change up what to look forward and improve your overall well being.
Skincare Routine
As the weather changes from cold to warmer you can focus on your skincare (if you haven’t been) or to revamp your current routine. This can include exfoliating and moisturizing your entire body and your face only products.
When talking about skincare this is a habit to build self love and taking care of your body. I use three skin care products in my routine and it works for me at this phase in my life.
New Seasonal Recipes
As the seasons change so does your food. Start adding one or two new recipes each month that align with spring. Think fresh fruit, light, delicious and energizing. Build the habit of trying new recipes in order to learn a new skill and eat nutritional foods. This habit can help you strength your relationship with food.
I completed 75 Medium in 2025 which helped me look at food as a partner in my health goals. Something that I need to nurture, praise and love no matter in order to reach my goals.
Start your recipe habits by pick one recipe, adding the ingredients to your shopping list and scheduling in the time to make it.
Less Screen Time
The most important habit I want you to adopt this Spring is less screen time. Set alarms, app limits and anything else to get you off of your phone. Spring is the perfect time to pick up a hobby that allows you to fill your new found time (offline) and do something creative.
Declutter Your Wardrobe
It’s time to pack away the winter sweaters and start rotating out your favourite spring pieces. Take a moment to go through your clothes to assess what needs to be fixed, donated or stored.
This habit can help you maintain your clothes through the season. It can be done monthly or even once a quarter so you don’t get overwhelmed with too many clothes.
Cleaning Routine
The last Spring habit I want you to start is a cleaning routine. Get in the habit of maintaining a tidy space but to also deep clean areas of your home on a weekly or monthly basis. A clean space is known to reduce stress and anxiety.
Start small with a “closing shift” routine where at the end of the night before you get into your pyjamas move through each space and leave it how the morning version of your would like to see it.
Let’s get focus on the light.
