Setting goals for 2026 starts now. If you wait any longer you are not going to achieve them in 2026. How do I know that? Because changing your life isn’t a to-do list you write down once and it magically appears, it’s intentional daily action.
If you start right now, you can be over a month ahead of everyone else start January 1st 2026.
Your goals should connect directly with your big dreams. Here is how it’s going to work:
The Ultimate Life Planner is designed to help you dream big, set goals, hit milestones and take action.
Dreams + Journal Prompts
Get clear on where you can see your life going. What are those big, outlandish achievements you see for yourself? I want you to be delusion here. Plus, you can utilize journal prompts like the ones below to get clear on what you desire but also what might be holding you back from dreaming in the first place.
Journal Prompts:
- If I could snap my fingers and do something every every day to earn money what would it me?
- How often do I think about [dream]. Why? What would happen in my life if I achieve this?
- Where do you want your money to come from?
- Write a love letter to the dream version of you.
- Do you have a cleaning routine that feels easy and manageable? If no, what can you do to make your space feel clean and tidy?
Goal Setting + Dream Sequence
Once you have your big dreams on paper or in a vision board it is time to set goals. Goal setting is merely a statement that connects to achieving that big, slightly delusional (but you believe in) goal.

You can write up to 5 Goals for each big dream you have because this is still the time to be delusional. Note, that being delusion will spark your nervous system, negative self talk and potentially fight, flight, freeze and fawn responses because your body is trying to keep you save in the now.
If you write a goal down like “I want to earn $50,000 per month” and you can feel your chest tighten, creepy crawlies down your spine, a swoop of the stomach that is a signal that your body is not safe with this possible goal.
Most people will just stop right here but I want you to feel safe pursuing that goal which means we need to break it down further into something much more manageable for your comfort zone.
Build a Dream Sequence
A dream sequence is everything you need to do in order to bring you dream to life. This can be overwhelming at first but for me I like seeing the step by step process I need to take in order to achieve my goals.
READ: The 6 Month Plan to Change Your Life for a more in-depth look at dream sequences.
Essentially, you work backwards from the end results and write now everything you need to do:

Once you have your dream sequence you can see clearly which step you are at and where you need to go. Now you can move onto the third step.
Milestones
Next up is to break those big delusional goals and your dream sequence into milestones you can hit over a designated time frame. I personally think 1 year is a great time frame to push yourself to take your goals seriously.
What is a milestone?
This is a target you are trying to hit and check off during your journey to accomplishing your goals and in turn your big delusional dream.

I can now focus on my milestones in order to bring my dream sequence to life. From here you need to take action.
Monthly, Weekly & Daily Habits
Having a checklist and a clear step by step plan is not going to make your dreams come true. You can sit and stare at your screen all your want but it is intentional daily action that will make the difference.
From your milestones you can clearly see what needs to be done each day, week, and month. From the example above in order to hit weekly blog learning session I have to show up each week for 30 minutes to learn (weekly habit) for the maintain social media content calendar mean posting daily pins (daily habit).

This process is a lot. It takes time, energy and pushing past your comfort zone. And it can take a couple of weeks to complete for each area of your life.
